Before taking up first-aid duties, an individual must have undertaken training and have a qualification approved by HSE (Health and Safety Executive).  Strathearn Training is approved by HSE to deliver First Aid At Work course.  These include:

• FAW 3 Day Course   (First Aid At Work Full Course)
• FAW ReQualification   (First Aid At Work Re-Qualification Course)
• EFAW   (Emergency First Aid At Work Course)

   

HSE strongly recommend that first–aiders undertake annual refresher training.  Although this is not mandatory this will help qualified first-aiders maintain their basic skills and keep up to date with any changes to first aid procedures.

We also deliver:

• Basic Skills Update (Basic Skills Update/Annual Refresher)

• First Aid Including Infant and Child 2 Day (12 Hours)

All of our First Aid courses meet the new HSE changes and guidelines of 1 October 2009 and Resuscitation Council Guidelines of 18 October 2010.
