Modern Apprenticeships are open to anyone age 16 or over who lives in Scotland and wishes to work towards industry recognised qualifications. 

Modern Apprenticeships are available in a wide range of sectors and offer individuals the opportunity to train as a craftsperson or for a technical or managerial role whilst in paid employment.

Individuals wishing to undertake a modern apprenticeship qualifications may be able to attract funding from Skills Development Scotland, especially for those in employment in Scotland and who are under 20 years of age.
